raiden was announced for XBLA a while ago.
about time we heard more about it. AWESOME.
cuz nobody else in the world can lose an eye.
Kojima will never make a game outside the metal gear series again...
every iteration of the PS3, even without functionality or appearance changes, is it's own sku. Including a new cable, including the DS3 instead of the six axis, sometimes even promotional packaging can change a sku.
I wouldn't be surprised if there were close to 30 skus through the lifetime of the PS3 so far
or perhaps one of the resistances maybe LBP. Wouldn't be surprising to see two older blockbusters to counter the 360 elite bundle, which is a steal right now tbh.
I can't see more than one game released after december being included in the bundle for that price though.
It could be KZ2+DLC though.
Of course, it could just be a SKU with minor hardware changes or other minor changes that just has a new model number or something.
I don't see how you'd even have a game based around it and have it be any fun...
They already made the changes to the game. It would be an incredible waste of time and a huge loss of revenue to cut the 360 out not to have the limitations to develop the game on a platform that they've said publicly is harder and more time consuming to develop for.
The only reason iD complained about disk space so vocally was to get M$ to lower their per-disc royalties (which are dumb) so they could put it on as many discs as they want without having to pay more for each disc. ...
why would they drop the console with a higher install base and higher attach rate AFTER THE GAME IS PRACTICALLY FINISHED ON ALL THREE PLATFORMS?
If it were in early development or PS3 was the lead platform or the PS3 were outselling the 360 by a little, then maybe they'd do it, but it's already nearing completion.
It's designed to be addicting. There are lots of people with non-addictive personalities that get addicted to WoW because the social structure is set up in such a way that you are either grinding for levels till you get higher, or you're grinding instances. Grinding end game instances really can't be done casually till months after their release, because no decent guild will let you participate just once or when it's convenient for you.
I had a friend who's guild made him skip sc...
it's really similar to the mirrors edge flash game.
is the PS3 GOTY edition going to have the 360 content included?

if u look towards the bottom of that page, theres an image that was released with the clouds. A lot of people think the teaser is going to go through each of the stages on that picture before the announcement is made where the ! is. It's either in the first or second pictures right now.
Who knows, they could also have coded all...
Agree. Splinter cell would suck open world. There's a ton of detail in even the smaller splinter cell levels. The multiplayer levels (which are the closest to open world of the splinter cell levels) are less than the size of a normal building and they have a ludicrous amount of detail in all the paths through the levels.
I'd much rather them keep highly detailed small levels than have a big bland open world.
If they changed their style from cynical to professional, people would stop liking it. They make their money off of making fun of everybody. Just like if Yahtzee started giving serious reviews.
I could look out the window and tell you "I predict in exactly 15 seconds it will not be raining, as it is not raining now," but that wouldn't be surprising at all to anybody. People want to know if it's going to be raining tomorrow or a week from now.
Does anyone have the articles for Nintendo and M$?
@bathyj below
Everything they write about pretty much everybody has a sly jab.
I can't imagine any situation outside of poor programming where a video would playback with screen tearing.
If there's screen tearing in pre-rendered video, that's really quite unacceptable programming.
That's part of the problem. People are spending 20-30 million making games that compete with games that were produced much cheaper over shorter time periods. What's worse is they sell at the same price.
It makes it incredibly hard to judge game quality for price.
I just remembered, he is a cookie... WHO CARES?
PS: nice edit...
When it took me 10 minutes to load their web page.
to get an idea of how a game plays, you're just dumb. You should look at all the good and all the bad things about a game. Don't just look at the number either, actually read them.
Just because it wasn't their game doesn't mean they might not like another game for the same reasons you do. Maybe they just absolutely hate repetitive missions, which u can deal with in an open world. Maybe they just never got into the style of the game. You don't know. It's no reason to write them of...
